Compassionate Listeners of York(CLY) is York County's team of community members who are working across differences to prevent targeted violence in the Uniting to Prevent Targeted Violence (UPTV) in South-Central Pennsylvania Program. (Read more about UPTV and Targeted violence here)

CLY is working with Suicide Prevention of York to implement a support system to address risk factors (e.g., feelings of hopelessness and unworthiness) for suicide and targeted violence, thereby reducing loneliness, unworthiness, and violence and creating hope in York County.
